Pirates of Pangea rated  Great
The board plays and looks great. The boats look amazing, and I like their placement making many people fight over them.

Hordes of China rated  Good
Good for small groups: 3-4. Barbarian Nations makes for some unique strategizing.

This one has everything: Great graphics, ingenious evolution concept, unique board movement, and unique/fluid bonus structure. They all put this board on the top of the list

Pangaea rated  Superb
Nowhere to hide, gotta set up good defenses. Great bonus structure, and the offset/angled sea countries makes it difficult to see a natural defense.

World War rated  Average
I think the board has great potential, but the borders need better delineation. If you make a few tweaks to colors so that country and continent borders are easier to read, I think it'll become a legend.

Great map, balance, and gameplay, but make sure you are patient.

Wheel of Gears rated  Good
I like the board, the gameplay, and the modifiers/fortifies for castles. But I have 1 gripe: The lines between the countries are practically invisible when the player is black, maybe it should be removed as a color choice.

Gila Mongers rated  Superb
I like this board. The low unit counts/attacks-per-turn make for great strategizing, while the attack modifiers allow you to make some brave moves to cut off an opponent.

9 Blocks rated  Good
Interesting twist with the layout of such that adjacent sides can attack making it hard to defend any given position. Good for games of about 3-4.

Speakeasy rated  Superb
Being born and raised Chicagoan gives this board a special place in my heart. I love hoardes style boards, although I'm not very good at them. Speakeasy jump points give a great twist on the standard hoardes style, especially on a map that would otherwise feel like it has chokepoints at the bridges.

Read Cona Chris's review. My sentiments exactly.

Helix rated  Great
I like the way the border modifiers give advantage to unidirectional travel, but the ability to attack up the helix adds some flavor. I'm a fan of the map...and when I finally win one, I'm sure I'll like it more.

Hordes of Africa rated  Good
Standard hordes game. Nothing flashy, but nothing negative either.

Mutiny on the Bounty rated  Average
Two words: stalemates and luck.
This game can run really long/become a stalemate depending on where the inter-opponent borders end up.
Starting position plays a huge role in whether you make it to that stalemate.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of the graphics. I think with some dressing up and a few extra borders, I think this could be a good map.

It's a great speed game or fast tournament board.

The modified borders and bonus structure make the default US board into something fun and unique. I like it.

Love the graphics, and when you want original risk this one beats all.

The Maze rated  Great
Great gameplay, and much better than crossword game. There are chokepoints, but the difficulty in crossing the board quickly to strike at an ever-growing opponent makes this one a great game.

Risk vs Reward rated  Good
The bonus structure of +/- with the attached islands is what makes this game fun.
